Monica Denomy, Luca Wesel and Dr. Beate Grotehans (from left to right) from the WaterFoundation had a full schedule for two days in Hanover. Over 1,500 participants from the foundation sector met there on May 14 and 15. Under the motto “How foundations shape transformation”, there were numerous informative presentations and discussion panels for the two female board members and the project coordinator, as well as opportunities for inspiring meetings, exchanges and networking. Their notebooks are now full of addresses for possible collaborations and funding ideas.
Project coordinator Luca Wesel had successfully applied to the #30under30 initiative. The Foundation Day thus offers young people under the age of 30 a subsidized participation and the opportunity to network in a workshop.
