For the first time in its more than 20-year history, the WaterFoundation team is being actively supported in its work by an intern. We are pleased to announce that Luca Wesel will be joining our team for three months.
Luca Wesel (27) comes from the southern Black Forest and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Düsseldorf and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Development Policy from the University of Essen-Duisburg. His previous internships were with the German Foreign Office in Berlin, Attac Germany in Frankfurt, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Berlin, and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Bonn. He speaks English and Spanish.
After graduating, Luca Wesel was initially a junior consultant at the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). He is currently completing further training at the Society for Sustainable Development. As part of this further training, he is completing his three-month mandatory internship at the WaterFoundation.
Update: Since August 2022 Luca Wesel is project coordinator at the WaterFoundation.
