The WaterFoundation was set up in 2000 by Ernst Frost and Henner Lang. It is based in Ebenhausen, near Munich. As a charitable foundation with legal personality, it supports people in regions with insufficient access to clean drinking water by helping them to help themselves. Combating the causes of forced migration is the sole means of enabling those affected to continue living in their countries of origin.
