World Premiere of a Hymn to Water

The WaterFoundataion attended the world premiere of the new water music piece “orbis aquarum” – a hymn to water – composed by Wolf Kerschek.

Not only did we witness an impressive and stirring performance by the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus under the direction of Domonkos Héja, but at the invitation of the Augsburg State Theater, we were also able to introduce an interested audience to our work at our information booth in the foyer of the Congress Center.

The city of Augsburg has a special connection to the theme of water. Since 2019, the Augsburg Water Management System, with its historic technological achievements, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
