WATER FUTURES – CloudFisher part of an exhibition of TUM Architecture

Reason to be optimistic: solutions are available for urgent water problems

At the opening of the WATER FUTURES exhibition in Munich, we were able to get a first glimpse of the impressive designs and models created by TUM students. A “best of” final projects from four semesters at the Chair of Architectural Design and Participation at the TUM (Prof. Francis Kéré).

All of them offer remarkable solutions to urgent problems in various regions of the world – caused by drought or flooding – that unfortunately have not yet been implemented.

The situation is different with the “PROMI” (O-tone Alida von Boch-Galhau), the CLOUDFISHER of the WaterFoundation, which is also on display. The fog collector has been in successful use for many years and provides thousands of people in Morocco, Tanzania, Peru and Bolivia with fresh drinking water.

December 17, 2024 to January 12, 2025 / 12 noon to 6 p.m. except Christmas and New Year
