Pump repair at 50 schools in Tansania

Since 2023, 4,000 people in Tanzania have finally regained access to clean water in their villages thanks to the successful repair of 20 defective water pumps.

In 2024, thanks to two generous donations, we were able to expand the project in Kilombero: as a result, the pumps at 50 schools can now be repaired. There are currently around 23,000 students there. These students, along with thousands of children in future years, will finally have fresh water at their schools again. Diseases can be prevented.

The Pump for Life (P4L) concept includes a maintenance service for the pumps, which can be booked for a small fee. We also support the training of P4L mechanics.
