Tanzania – 31. March 2026
New project in Tanzania starts in April

On April 1, 2026, we will launch our anniversary project in Tanzania together with our local partner MSABI. The goal is to restore water supply to 50 primary and secondary schools in the Morogoro region, thereby ensuring access to clean water for approximately 23,000 children.
In many regions of Tanzania, broken water points are a major problem. Especially in schools, a lack of access to water directly impacts health, hygiene, and education. The project therefore relies on MSABI’s proven Pump for Life approach: defective pumps are repaired, integrated into a maintenance network, and kept operational in the long term.
In addition to repairing 50 water points, the project also includes the training of existing P4L mechanics and the training of five new ones, including at least three women. This not only improves access to water but also builds local expertise in sustainable maintenance and supply.
The project will run until December 2026. It is funded by proceeds from the “24 Good Deeds” Advent calendar as well as numerous donations during our anniversary year in 2025. The total budget is 68,000 euros.
