A good start of 2025

We are starting the new year with great energy. The donations received in 2024 will enable us to implement the planned projects in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Peru and Bolivia. A big thank you to all donors!

Sustainable success through continuity: the well-prepared handover of the chairmanship of the Executive Board took place at the turn of the year.

Dr. Beate Grotehans, who joined the WaterFoundation in 2012, moved from the Executive Board to the Board of Trustees. Under her chairmanship, which she took over in 2020 from founder Henner Lang, the WaterFoundation has become more professional and financially sound. She will continue to actively promote the interests of the WaterFoundation as Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.

Monica Denomy, an internationally experienced expert in development cooperation, is moving to the top of the Executive Board. She joined the foundation in July 2020 as a senior project manager and has been responsible for operations as a member of the Executive Board since 2022.
