A better future for Ethiopian women and their families

On 1 July 2025, our new project to empower women in rural areas of Ethiopia was launched. In cooperation with the Ethiopian NGO Facilitator for Change, we are providing 400 women with donkeys to carry water and targeted training in vegetable cultivation, giving them greater independence, better educational opportunities and new sources of income. The women are organised into self-help groups and benefit from training in business development and marketing. In total, we are reaching around 2,500 people.
